Role this week

Today we are going to Trelik tower again with the cast to continue filming the scenes where they bump into eachother and Charlie steals Ellas phone. We are going to try it with a sheet of paper in front of the light to see how much difference it makes and also with other lighting as well.

Role for the week

This week we are continuing with the filming at trelik tower and getting more shots of the scene where Charlie and Ella bump into eachother. Rosie is in charge of taking photos of the group in action in order to post onto the blog showing out progress within the filming. Issy and I are in charge of filming this week and every one is directing because every one is contributing their ideas to the filming. The shots that we did at Trelik this week were really goos in my opinion however, they were a bit dark and therefore next week we are going back to the location to film with more lights and also a sheet over the light so the light is brighter. I am in charge of taking the light home and keeping it safe, Issy is in charge of the camera and Rosie is in charge of the tripod.

Role for this week

This week Myself, Issy and Rosie are going to Trelik Tower to start filming the first few scenes. The characters in the trailer have made arrangements to meet at Trelik Tower in costume and we will bring the equipment with us aswell. We are aiming to film the first scenes which are establishing shots of the area and the walking scene of The girl and the robber. If we have time we want to filmthe bumping in scene as well but if we dont have time we will have to do it next week depending on the lighting.

Animatic

This is the animatic that I made for the group. Rosie and I drew the pictures and I then scanned them into photoshop and cropped the pictures and imported them into movie maker and created the video.

Filming Practice - Enchanted palace project

This video was filmed by myself and 2 other students from my school when we went on a trip to kensington palace. The project was to film shots which suggested duty around the enchanted palace. Although we didnt do the editing, we took it in turns to film certain shots. The shots that i did were the footsteps at the beginning, the close up of the soldiers, and the shot of the throne. This really helped me develop my skills with the camera for example with focus shots and zooming in and out. I really enjoyed the workshop and i felt it really enhanced and developed my skills of filming and feel more confident now about starting to film the trailer.

Role For the week

This week we are going to visit our location to get a feel of what we are going to be filming and where we want our filming to take place. We want to decide on where exactly at Trelik tower would be a good place to shoot and also what kind of different angles look good. Me, Issy and Rosie will go and visit the tower and take some pictures of the location to see where would work.

Furthermore, I am also working on the animatic whereby me and Rosie will draw some shots of what we want the traielr to have and then I will edit it on Windows Movie Maker.

Further Soundtrack analysis

This track is quite fast paced in the middle of it which is perfect for the main character is frantically searching for who is following her and tormenting her. For example when she is frantically looking through facebook to see if she recognises anyone and looking through phone books and so on.



This is a really good soundtrack to use when we see the
Main character being tormented by the videos and pictures on her phone. This track gives an eerie feel to it and gives the impression that the character is being tormented because of her struggles and the laugh shows how she is being mocked and how she is suffering.
